What does connecting Shopify enable?
Two things. Activate your shop widget turns on the Chat-in widget (a QR code plus a Start WhatsApp Chat button) so visitors can message you in one click. Collect phone numbers after checkout configures the thank-you-page widget, shown only to buyers who didn't leave a phone number in their order. A preview of each widget appears on the right.

How do I activate the storefront widget?
Click Activate under "Activate your shop widget". The widget goes live on your store immediately — no code and no developer required. See the dedicated article on the Chat-in Shop widget for how it behaves.
What does Safe mode do?
Under "Collect phone numbers after checkout", the Safe mode toggle restricts the checkout widget to users with clear opt-in intent. Use Configure in Shopify to open the Shopify app settings for finer setup. Safe mode is recommended for privacy-sensitive markets or a strict GDPR reading — it limits when the widget is shown. How do I check or remove the connection?
When connected, the page shows "Shopify is connected". Disconnect Shopify removes the entire integration in one click.
