How do I tell my messages from the contact's?

• Incoming messages sit on the left with a grey background, labelled with the contact's name and a timestamp.
• Your replies sit on the right with a blue background, labelled "You" and a timestamp.
• Messages a flow sent on your behalf carry the label "You, Automated".

That third label matters when you pick up a conversation mid-way. It tells you what the contact has already been told automatically, so you do not repeat it or contradict it.

Do I have to listen to voice messages?

No. A voice message appears as a player in the chat, and Keaz puts an automatic transcription directly underneath it. You can read the message instead of playing it, which is faster and works when you cannot use sound.

What are the centred lines between messages?

Those are event markers, not messages. They record what happened in the relationship alongside what was said, so the history explains itself. Examples you will see:

• "[Contact name] has joined", together with a segment badge.
• "Received any message".
• "Reply window opened — Open chat".

Why are there buttons under some messages?

Those are quick reply buttons, and they appear under a message a flow sent. They show you exactly which options the contact was offered — useful when the reply you are looking at is a button tap rather than typed text. How do I see who I am talking to?

Two ways, both without leaving the page: click the contact's name at the top left, or use the Contact button at the top right. Either opens the contact details panel next to the chat.

What does Mark as done do?

The Mark as done button at the top right moves the conversation out of the Open tab and into Done. Nothing is deleted and the history stays readable — it just leaves your working list. See the Inbox overview for how the two tabs behave.

What can I do in the composer?

The composer sits at the bottom, behind the placeholder "Enter your message…". It gives you:

• Add file, for attachments.
• Formatting: bold, italic, strikethrough, monospace, and emoji.
• A live character counter, 0/1024, so you see how much room is left while you type.
• Send, which is only active while the reply window is open.

The counter is there to stop you writing past the limit and losing the end of your message. A greyed-out Send button is not a bug: it means the reply window for this conversation has closed.
